Who we are

What data we collect
- Contact details from the contact form and B2B form (name, email, phone, company name, message)
- Order details at checkout (shipping/billing address, payment details processed by Square — we do not store full card numbers)
- Browsing data via Google Analytics 4 (with consent)
Why we collect it
- To fulfill orders and provide customer service
- With your consent, for site analytics (Google Analytics 4) and any marketing communications
- To protect the site and prevent fraud
Who we share it with
- Square, Inc. — payment processing for all card transactions
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) — site traffic and usage analytics
- Brevo — transactional and order-related email delivery
- Our web hosting provider, to operate the site
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for 7 years to satisfy US federal and state tax recordkeeping practice. Contact-form submissions are retained for 12 months from the last contact unless a business relationship continues.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing eshop@dakryolive.com. If you believe your rights under applicable law have been violated, you may also contact the Rhode Island Attorney General’s office or the Federal Trade Commission (ftc.gov/complaint).
Your US privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under US state privacy laws (including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and comparable laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states). These rights may include:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected about you
- The right to request deletion of your personal information
- The right to correct inaccurate personal information
- The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, and out of targeted advertising
- The right to non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
Do we sell or share your data?
We do not sell personal information. We use Google Analytics 4 for site analytics; depending on how it is configured, this may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes under some state laws even though we do not run ad campaigns with this data today. We do not currently use advertising cookies or pixels (see our Cookie Policy).
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Where legally required, we honor GPC opt-out signals sent by your browser as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing.
Exercising your rights
Email eshop@dakryolive.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or use the “Your Privacy Choices” link in the site footer. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
