Good to know

A few useful details.

Pearls, vinegar or glaze?

Vinegar: mix into dressings and marinades.
Glaze: drizzle or draw a continuous ribbon.
Pearls: place small accents on the finished dish.

Should I cook balsamic pearls?

Use them as a finishing garnish. Add them after cooking and plating. Let the strongest heat subside before adding pearls to hot food.

Are balsamic pearls fish caviar?

No. Balsamic caviar refers to their appearance. These are a balsamic condiment, rather than fish roe. Check the jar for the full ingredient and allergen information.

How do I keep the presentation clean?

Use a small clean spoon. Let excess liquid drain from the spoon if needed. Add a few small clusters, then taste before adding more.

How should I store an opened jar?

Follow the storage and after opening instructions on your specific jar, including any refrigeration requirement. Use a clean utensil each time.
